    umm...

do you have the statistics to contradict to what they are saying? including the "unreported cases" that you are talking about?

if you read the news, crime rate is on a downward trend since a few years ago.

    FYI:

NCR crime rate drops 4.6 percent

The crime rate in Metro Manila dropped 4.68 percent for the first eight months of the year despite the ongoing political tension, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Saturday.

Based on NCRPO records, Metro Manila registered 11,380 cases of criminality from January to August this year compared to 11,939 cases logged during the same months last year.

Director Vidal Querol, NCRPO chief, said this is contrary to the anticipated slight increase in crime rate during the July and August.

Records show that theft remains the most common of all index crimes with 2,232 cases. This was followed by robbery (1,891), physical injuries (1,386), murder (399), homicide (206), and rape (197).

Querol urged his men and the public to remain vigilant against criminal elements despite the improvement.

sir mazda, wat i am only trying to say is halata na di na nagrereport karamihan ng mga victims of such crimes (big or small) kasi po di naman na-aaksyunan. for example, yung shobe ko ninakawan ng bag with valuables, nung ni-report nya yun almost dinedma lang sya and wala pakialam mga pulis kaya naasar pa shobe ko kaya di na lang nya tinuloy, wat they are reporting to the media is yung reported cases pero as we all know mas dumami ang crimes na nangyayari around us. opinion ko lang po sir, i am not argumenting.

hindi lang naman ngayon hindi nagrereport ang mga tao ng crime eh... kahit dati pa naman...

malay niyo totoo... give them the benefit of the doubt... kung totoo good for us... win win situation... kung hindi totoo, eh di nagkasala lang sila... problema nila yun...

parang ganito yan eh... "is there really a global warming? or are we just wearing too much clothes?"

pero sa atin... "tumataas ba ang crime rate or lagi lang tayo napapadalas sa mga delikadong lugar?"
