i was once a student in UST Law and there are 4 recognized fraternities there....yng sororities din ng UST Law recognized ng school.. may mga profs din ksi ako sa UST Law na affiliated sa frat ng UST eh..

sa Med school ng UST, i have a friend studying there and i think yung sinalihan nya yata di recognized ng UST....yng isang friend ko naman yung sinalihan nya recognized ng school...

as for me, di ako sumali sa frat ng law school...i have nothing against them.. di ko naman kailangan masaktan para magkaroon ng kaibigan dun eh..though being affiliated in a fraternity organization can really help law students especially sa mga law firms pag graduate na ang isang law student. but still, i have a classmate of mine in law school, brod nya yung prof namin kaso binagsak pa rin sya. so i guess it's not the frat alone that will help us go through life but it's up to us on how we make it through life....

i agree, im a sorority girl, but if i will have a son i wont allow him to join fraternities, ive seen a lot of frat guys mishandling their acads

college life, na experience ko ata lahat from activitism and rallies, student council, student publication, dorm life and of course, fraternity rumbles (as a frat man and a participant)

oopppss, may kulang pala. wala masyado sa sports except inter dorm sports competition lang. of course, running during rumbles can qualify as sports siguro, hahahaha

hehehe... never pa ko sumali sa frat. virgin pa sa frat to oi! pero andami na nag sasali sakin, lahat sila tinanggihan ko. wala rin naman ako mapapala e. pero part na rin ang frat ng college life, depending on your course, wheter you like it or not, kelangan talaga sumali. lalo na mga LAW students.
i have a friend, nag college sa ust. den napasali sa frat, ayun bangenge sa marijuana.
sana wag na dumating sa point na ganito ang mga sasali at ang mga sumasali..

just be sure of what you want out of your life. if you see yourself having a frat then why not. just make sure that it is what you want, not what they want you to see. intiendes? I've been invited over and oriented 3 times by different frats. Being a part of a frat wasn't just me. Sad to say, my biggest mistake was not join in any org (nung freshman year ko). hehe sobrang nagsisisi ako pero ok lang dami ko naman mga kaibigan na may org sa school at.... siyempre DC.org harharhar. dude, college life is about choices. up to now, I still make life making (or life breaking) choices. hehe

bad mistake yang sumali sa frat. just imagine, malalaman mo na mahina ka pala sa math kasi hindi mo kaya bilangin yung palo ng paddle na ihahataw sa iyo! ako nabilang ko 300 yata bago ako nag-pass out, tapos nun di ko na alam ilan pa yung palo na inabot ko. then ano mapapala mo kundi rambol. saka peklat sa hita na parang sinunog ng plantsa. worst mistake i ever did in college. kaya nga after 1 year lie low na ako, ni hindi na ko nag-tambay sa frat.

i found better friends who did not have to bring me halfway to death for them to offer me friendship. fratmen din sila ng ibang frats, rival frat pa nga e. pero pag nag-rambol mga frat namin tawanan lang kami sabay punta sa inuman, hinahayaan na lang namin mag-patayan yung mga brods namin. sila na lang no, bakit kami sasali sa kagaguhan nila. mas lasting and meaningful pa yung friendship namin. di gaya sa frat, lagi na lang "obligation" and "duty"sa mga brods mo.

ngayon pag nakikita ko mga brods ko wala lang, dedma. "yun yata yung sadista na tumutulo pa laway nung pina-paddle ako? barilin ko kaya? hmmmm?"
