November 11th, 2007 04:24 PM #42hmm... i understand how you feel. one time napika din ako sa BDO kasi hindi maganda customer service nila. pero it turns out depende pala sa branch. yung ibang branch ng BDO okay naman pala. at kapag mahaba ang pila sa bdo, yung ibang desk "tellers" can function as tellers and accept transactions, effectively doubling or sometimes tripling the number of teller windows, which is good.
i have no experience with rcbc and psbank although kilala ko ang branch manager ng isang branch ng psbank (he's a really really nice guy). i've been so tempted to transfer the bdo account to psbank kaya lang tinatamad ako. how is psbank related to metrobank?
re: metrobank, nahirapan ako magbank sa metrobank kasi the two times i made a transaction with them, sobrang daming tao sa loob ng bank. (parang mas madami kesa bpi.) at parang lahat ata nag-e-encash ng cheque kaya ang tagal ng transaction. ewan kung na-tyempo lang ako pero lagpas 1 hour ata ako in both occassions e.
oh yeah i just have to mention this: okay din ang security bank. very pleasant ang mga tauhan nila (genuine ang mga smile and very helpful). and the branch manager (at least the branch where i maintain an account) is a very very nice person. may numbering-card system din sila. option lang in case you plan to close your bpi account.

PS Bank is a subsidiary of Metrobank. I dont know if "subsidiary"
is the proper term, basta nabili na ito ng Metrobank.
So PSBank is kinda stable for it has the financial muscle of Metro
to back it up.
Yes ma-tao nga sa Metrobank but the PSbank in our Village konti
lang plus the fact that there's a number/seating system with ample
newspapers/magazines. The transactions are also fast, I'm in and
out of there in 10 minutes flat.
It takes me mga 20 to 30 minutes
to finish up. As I said naman, OK lang naman maghintay basta naka-upo
at may binabasa na pampalipas oras.

Okay lang sa akin ang BPI and what I especially like about them is their bpiexpressonline internet banking...

Also, these are people who will absolutely not be willing to wait in line. So it pays na sa ATM na lang mag-transact as much as possible dahil sa experience ko, the banks with the best customer service are almost always the smaller, riskier ones.
