Road trip lang Doc? Short scenic route pwede Talisay going down. Long scenic route pwede via Nasugbu with photo op sa Kaybiang Tunnel.

inu-uwi niya yung mga barf bags sa eroplano.
she also asks us to bring ours home.
her son needs 'em during longer car rides.

Usual haunts are Balay Dako or any of the Bag of Beans. Balinsasayaw for alfresco. Ribchon was featured by Chef Tatung. Better on weekdays Doc.

I enjoyed Buon Giorno. Not sure if it's still there though.

Among all of those, Marcia Adams is my favorite. Best pork chop I’ve ever had. Worth it for 850 pesos, 3 course meal naman.

Antonio’s isn’t worth the price for me (around 4-5k/head depending on what you order) but the ambiance is great. Steak is pretty good naman, but I have other favorites.

Buon Giorno is fairly priced. That’s where my wife and I had our first anniversary as bf-gf, back when I was a broke college student. I think less than 1.5k for 2 people already.

Breakfast by Antonio’s is a little overpriced for breakfast food (400-500 per meal, like Wildflour or Elephant Grounds) but good view and the food is ok naman.

I like the steak in Marcia Adams. It’s so…moist. Alam ko suki ka ng Texas Joe haha and favorite ko naman porkchops doon, which I just had last Monday. How far in the scale would you say Marcias porkchop is from Texas Joes, which I assume natry mo na din?

    kasi,
when we and the extended family eat out,
we like to eat something not available at home.

Medyo malayo Marcia pork chop sa Texas Joe pork chop. I’d rate Marcia Adams a 10, 6 siguro Texas Joe. Ribs of Texas Joes are so good though, maybe 8 or 9 for me.

Di ko matandaan nagmarka ang ribs nila sa akin and I only ever order porkchops in recent memory. But I’m trying the porkchops in Marcias next time I get the chance!
