The draft Executive Order (EO) that would implement the first tranche of the salary hike for government employees is now under review by the Office of the President, a Palace spokesman said Friday.

"According to Executive Secretary [Jojo] Ochoa, the draft executive order prepared by the DBM (Department of Budget and Management) on the implementation on the first tranche of salary standardization for government employees, as provided for in the 2016 GAA, is now undergoing review by the OP legal staff," Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr. said in a statement.

The General Appropriations Act (GAA) for 2016 has allocated P57 billion for salary increase of government employees.

Budget Secretary Florencio Abad earlier said the first-tranche increase will be "in the average, 27 percent."

Congress adjourned session on February 3 without approving the proposed Salary Standardization Law IV (SSL IV). Session will remain adjourned until May 22, or two weeks after Election Day.

The bicameral panel is in an apparent impasse over the indexation provision that would cover the pension of military and uniformed personnel retirees.

Although the legislative chamber will still resume session on May 23, it will convene as the National Board of Canvassers to tally the votes for president and vice president.

Senate President Franklin Drilon had earlier said that even with the resumption of the session after the elections, it would be too late for them to pass the SSL IV. —Kathrina Charmaine Alvarez/KBK, GMA News

After doing some research in alibaba.com I found (and will order ) the following things:

1. 10" android headunit for the new 2016 landcruiser. Quadcore HD and kitkat (I think lollipop is also available). Am glad they already have a version that will fit the modified panel of the new LC. Will replace the stock AVT unit.

I kept looking and looking in aliexpress but there was none. But when I searched in alibaba itself there were lots of choices. No minimum order either. In fact I'm looking at other accessories as well. This place is a gold mine with very very reasonable prices. These head units are much cheaper than the pioneer units they sell here.

Ako. Personally I don't like it, parang na overhyped na naman, tasted it before in Taipei and in US then dito. It's really same as other xiao long bao. At least for me.

May pila, automated queueing naman. Waiting time for a group of 4 is 10 minutes. The bigger the group the harder to spot a table.

Wala na pila masyado Tim Ho Wan ngayon. I prefer pork buns over xiao long bao so Tim Ho Wan > Din Tai Fung.

Tuan Tuan also has good pork buns but Tim Ho Wan's is better. Advantage of Tuan Tuan is that they have other good offers (laksa, spare ribs, steak, etc) while Tim Ho Wan is pretty limited.

What we specially liked about THW is their spinach shrimp dumpling....

Pork bun and xiao long bao are just okay food for us from any restaurant....
