A good number of the local cable tv channels can't be picked up during auto tune by the LEDTV I bought. Plus the different channel programming.

In the end, I did manual channel programming.

At least you can get it done via manual setting of channels using the TV tuner. Here, we need the set top box and hook it to the TV via HDMI. We don't use the ATSC tuner of the TV.

ever since the ayala buildings sprouted, our local TV signals from the other side, have degenerated to un-useable quality. them buildings act like berlin walls.
cable or the abs cbn's mahiwagang black box are our solution.

It just breaks my heart whenever I see a condo being constructed near my home or route going home. Manila is way too dense already.

bwisit araw na to (saturday). may nagimbita na kumare ni misis bday party. alam naman na traffic pag saturday, alam naman na holiday sa monday, e bakit hindi ginawang sunday sana ang party para maluwag ang traffic? wala sana traffic kasi nasa probinsiya ang mga tao. pero hindi, itong kumare na ito kahit kelan di nagiisip. umalis kami ng qc 2:30 pm, nakarating kami ng molino 7 pm lang naman. kiddie party, jollibee. e di gutom lang inabot. tapos pauwi yung isang kumare naman ang nagyaya, magkape daw. napa-iling na lang ako. nakikita naman na ang lakas ng ulan. e siya lapot lang niya nakatira pero pinilit pa din. eto 1:30 am na kami nakadating ng bahay at tradfic sa slex after ng toll gate.

It is getting crowded everywhere in Metro Manila. That's why a number of my cousins moved elsewhere such as Subic up north and farther south. They can't stand it either. I guess it's easier for them to move away because they have their own businesses.

it's probably not tiwala, but more of old habits.
besides, these older guys probably have enough cash to have their cars fixed where it would inconvenience them the least.
whenever i pms my still-under-warranty car in the casa, marami akong nakikitang nagpapa-service, na driver at hindi owner, ang nagdadala.

Bro - i am familiar with the area as my maternal side of the family lives only a few kilometers from there.

My daily grind in traffic would be Bicutan Interchange exit. Normally we would be stopped in traffic for at least five minutes at 605am allowing those vehicles from Bicutan to cross going to C6, well in fact they could release us, all 5 to 6 vehicles first before they release 30+ vehicles from Bicutan.

One time I could not help it. I called a TE from SLEX and asked him why they could not release us first as we will not block the intersection vs releasing those vehicles from Bicutan who will, almost all of the times. He said, "marami sila e.."... Naka hang kami with the provincial buses while held up in traffic.

I replied that it is precisely the point! Frustrated I bluntly asked him "who is paying your salary? - kami iyon who are using SLEX... So consider that you release us first as we will not block the intersection....."

Oh well, you can't teach an old dog a new trick....

Akala ko sa amin lang ganyan. Dito sa Rizal common occurrence na ang counter flow. Nag iisip na nga ako magdonate ng barriers for a couple of sections para lang wala nang maka counter flow sa regular route namin.

Amen. Add to this, Pinoys don't know how to merge. Gitgit lang ng gitgit. That's why roundabouts and u-turn slots are as slow as they are here.
