Familiar naman ako sa area bro, nakatawid narin ako dyan (wala ako nagawa, didnt know na dun pala dadaan mga kasama ko).
Problema kasi kanina, parang nakapila sila and 2 lanes na ang na occupy nila, i cant swerve right kasi dun sila papunta, cant do left din kasi yun iba nila kasabay andun pa. two quick tap and one long sa brake ginawa ko accompanied by engine brake pa. nainis lang ako kanina kasi bigla ko naisip, pano kung gf ko nag drive. Or pano kung di ko sila totally napansin, or worst di ako familiar sa area.

tagal ko nang rant yan paps, they should pass a law that states that pag nakasagasa sa edsa, c5, commonwealth or any other places na may foot bridge, dapat di liable ang driver...laki ng sign" bawal tumawid"

the high blood sugar causes the blood vessels in the retina (the light-sensitive layer in the eye) break down and leak (hemorrhage).
    these eventually lead to blindness.
treatment is twofold: control blood sugar; and laser, to weld shut the leaking vessels. alas, the treatment only stops or slows down the process. it can not reverse what was already destroyed.

(note to specialists: terms oversimplified for the layman. bear with me.)

I think at some point I will be forced to leave the job that I like due to salary

Why do you have to wait pa? Leave now and transfer kung saan mas mataas bayad. Magsisisi ka lang pag pinatagal mo pa. Go where the money is.

Loyalty to a company is overrated.

    7 years na nga ako

I'm not sure if transferring for a higher salary will be worth it because I am happy with everything at work except for the salary and rude colleagues. I can get away with murder at work. For example, our working hours are 9 to 6 but I am able to come in anytime I want (lunch time) My local boss already gave up on trying to make me come to work on time. This flexibility lets me do my errands in the morning when needed. Also, I can take a leave anytime I want, even on the day itself. I don't hear anything from my bosses. Kumbaga, wala ng nakikialam sakin That is something that could get me fired in other companies. That's really the reason why I lasted so long in this company.

Pero ngayon nahihirapan na talaga ako sa salary ko. I am earning half of my market rate. When I was new at work, parking was free and my family paid for my gas and car maintenance, now I pay for all that. Then today I had a conversation with my Mom and she expects me to spend on home maintenance since it is my house anyway daw I told her I cannot afford it and it made me feel so terrible saying that. It makes me feel like a failure since most people my age have their own cars and homes and I cannot even afford me to chip in on home maintenance.

BTW yung batchmates/friends ko sa company na yan, halos lahat sila naka minimum 3 companies in those 7 years. They all earn 6 digit salaries I suppose. Majority of them when we started at work were renting/living with parents and commuting. Now they are condo/home owners and have their own cars na. They were teasing me last Friday na mabubulok na ko sa company namin hahaha.

^^ sort of in the same situation. I am happy with the work & people I am with at work. I've also been in the company a long time too (longer than you). I also have the privilege of coming in late & going home early (although I don't abuse it). I can also take leaves on short or on no notice.

My son has a disability, & I could go home anytime to accompany him to his pt/ot, checkups, etc.

I am also the only one given by my boss a car incentive where I could use the car for 5 years for free. While the others in the company have a car plan where the company pays for it, & the employee pays 70% in the course of 5 years.

Lately been having issues too financially. Will try to talk to my boss for a raise, & if that fails, its time to look for another job.

I also take care of my senior family and I am an only child so the sole responsibility falls on me. The type of flexibility our job offers is important for us who are "caregivers".

Maybe the reason why you're still getting a low salary is because of those "perks" that you enjoy? Management not confronting you about your flexi time doesn't mean it's okay with the company. It just means they don't have the balls to call you out and they're taking it out on you through other non-confrontational methods such as keeping you under a low pay grade or assigning you somewhere else.

We all have our personal burdens to carry but it's unfair for the company we work for to adjust to our needs.

But it's hard to impose on your better half to share in your responsibilities to your family. I personally think it's unfair to her or him.
