Happened to me on PLDT too, someone or their whole 171 department likes to close ticket, maybe to avoid incurring rebates for customers. What I did is just followed up every day, filed service request pag na close using their Android app. I must have more than 20 service request number written. Then nagpunta kami ng pldt and showed it to them.
We got more than a month's worth of rebates. And the pldt csr told us na ganun nga ginagawa ng 171, minsan kahit di fix basta may action lang sila nagawa close na tiket. Which is sad, it came to the point that I was almost crying out of frustration while talking to 171 because they've closed my ticket AGAIN while it's not fixed.
