I guess i am a caveman together with my friends and family since deadma lang magbayad ng cash or cc. Basta you make a promise ikaw taya, ikaw taya. Panindigan, simple as that. No frills no fuss. All love.

Regarding dun sa nakikipag unahan pa sa bayad. Pwede sabihin sa waiter kaagad bago mag start na sa iyo ibigay ang bill.

basically the point is there are settings where using cash is vulgar or loud or doesn't look nice

Like sa case mo may ballpark ka naman siguro magkano aabutin including the additional in case sumobra ang guests hindi naman yan sumunod ka lang and eventually ikaw pala magbabayad biglaan na hindi mo alam.

If I have cash ba naman na pwede ko i-ready then pay in cash, if wala available then card na nga.

Re: paying in cash you can pay discreetly naman, hindi mo naman ipamumukha ginastos mo eh? Depende na yun kung talagang kumag or mayabang yun nanlibre.

Me as a guest hindi ko rin naman pag iisipan ng kung ano yung host na magbabayad cash man or card.

The end of the day siya ang nagbayad.

so gotta dial up the table manners and speak at a lower the volume and other stuff

Seriously, mas nakaka stress yung mga taong walang "rules" Parang new officemate namin we invited for lunch, pag dating ng bill todo compute, usually equal division kami kung di naman malaki difference. Cringe worthy yung ginawa niya and we all felt the same. Masyado dinibdib pagka CPA

Hindi rin ako agree sa upfront sasabihin mo sayo ang bill. Pwede yan BEFORE the guests arrive at hindi nila alam na you already spoke to the waiter.

Ako more on mental decluttering lang talaga. May pagka oc pero lutang ako so not having a cc is one less thing to think about. I'm not saying I will never need one pero wala pako dun.

Sa company namin if you get to a certain job grade where you have to spend for business, they give you a cc to use. Personally, if I wanna go cashless I use my debit card.

May nagsabi na wag na niya i compute at sa office na lang pag balik. We didn't invite her anymore and she didn't ask to join us na rin. Both parties knew na hindi kami magkakasundo. Sa barkada namin frowned upon yung masyadong ma kwenta.

Kung pumunta sa waiter discreetly then that's fine. Ang pangit lang yung lahat nakaupo na tapos you will tell the waiter sayo ang bill.
