Medyo strict si crush, not sure if he will let me get away with the things my German boss does. I did ask him if he can hire me, but I can't be part of his department because I am not qualified.

BOC / BIR stupidity to the highest level. Heard this problem with the tax way back in 2013/2014 when Yolanda was still "fresh". Did not know that up to now, the problem was never "resolved". Kim Henares sucked. But the fact it was not resolved when a new admin came in, well now that's a different story. Government should really grow up.

The use the Gen 10 as your daily driver. For coding days, just use grab. Problem partially solved.

The government won't shape up until they start paying government workers good salaries. But the government won't allow that to happen kasi dadaan yung approval sa heads/politicos who are the ones sucking up all the taxpayer money in the first place.

Even lower to mid level grunts need to be paid high(er) salaries para mahassle pa sila in doing corruption and all the other stuff. Low salary = they are either physically or mentally elsewhere, so you get incompetent people or competent people who are just focusing on something else.

In some other countries, working for the government is a prestigious position. Dito, baliktad haha.

I'd feel anxious not having a coding car. Plus it's hard and expensive to grab now. It's just very frustrating, kaya nga bumili new car para problem free, tapos first year pa lang labas pasok na sa casa.

But I am EXTREMELY impressed with my Gen 10. Absolutely zero repairs and it's an 8 yr old car.

Red tape forces destruction of relief goods donated to Yolanda survivors

Containers of relief goods donated for survivors of super typhoon Yolanda are to be destroyed after standing idle for more than four years.

The Bureau of Customs in the Central Visayas announced today (Wednesday, October 3) that the goods — including baby food, clothes and medical supplies — will be incinerated.

Cebu Customs District Collector Elvira Cruz said the donors and consignees did not get an exemption from paying taxes and duties from the Department of Finance, leaving the items to rot in limbo.

He added: “This was meant to be donated for the Yolanda victims in Cebu. But it was not processed because the donor did not want to pay taxes and at the same time he had no permit. He had no exemption.

    It is such a waste.”

    Yolanda, corruption and incompetence…
The donated items in three of the four containers – which came from Belgium, the UK and Norway – have now been taken to RRDS Petro-Chemical Industries, in Mandaue City for destruction.

They had been intended to help the survivors of the natural disaster — international name Haiyan — which hit the country in 2013 killing at least 6,300 people and displacing some six million. It was the strongest tropical cyclone ever recorded.

The international community rallied round, and billions of dollars were donated to the relief effort. However, from the outset corruption and incompetence meant that much of these funds failed to reach the victims.

I can't believe the stupidity of those people who wanted the donors to pay taxes for the donations. Onli in da Pilipins.[emoji47]

Pag pera, baka di na umabot sa mga nangangailangan. Mapupunta lang sa nangingialam.

Cath sa coding day mo, magpahatid ka kay SO. Pero dapat may reward. Di gagalaw yan ng wala. Something worth his time. Sa gabi pa sundo ka rin. Pero mas malaki na reward sa gabi.

So hatid sundo ka na pag coding.

And don't reason out na di gagalaw si SO dahil sobrang tamad yun. I trust your manipulative instincts. Kayang kaya mo yan

I'm not the "hatid sundo" type of girl. I am very impatient and hate to wait that's why I practically forced my parents to let me drive at 16 yrs old. Also, my car is sort of my security blanket, it lets me have control of my time.

Hindi tamad si SO, ang tamad yung ex ko Once I told SO I was not going to school because I was coding he offered to hatid sundo (something that my then BF never did), those are things I appreciate about him a lot. Even when I am sick he would offer to take me to the doctor. Ma "acts of service" type of love siya.
