Hay naku, andami... banks have entire departments working on these things. Dealers repossess cars because people "buy" things they can't really afford.

I don't see why ikaw pa dapat ma-guilty.

Yup. That's why we only gave half the amount. I'm just very very disappointed because I didn't expect him to act this way. May utang na nga siya, kapal pa ng mukha niya na mag absent on the day itself. Ilang beses yan nasira lakas dahil sa kanya. And he has the most outrageous excuses. We treated him like family. Naalala ko sometime back in Ortigas, there was this old guy na yung gimmick niya is akala mo parang inaatake/stroke. Lagi siyang nakakabiktima kasi who wouldn’t take pity on an old man right? Yun nga lang, people began to notice na parang every other week or so, nandun siya na akala mo naghihingalo. One of my staff even spotted him in Timog nung marami na nakakahalata (lumipat venue to lie low muna).

You know what’s so wrong with this? They are taking advantage of the goodness and kindness of other people. When someone really needs help (yung totoo na) people’s hearts have grown so hard from repeatedly getting scammed, wala na tutulong.

Nanlamang na nga sa kapwa, nag-corrupt pa ng taong mabait. May pagka-demonyo talaga siguro.

Cathy, that guy is a scumbag, and there are many more of his ilk in this world, but I hope this doesn’t discourage you and your family from doing what is right when someone is truly in need.

I am so disappointed talaga with him Mabait naman kasi siya before, may malasakit saka hindi nag take advantage. For example I give him money for lunch or dinner, sinosoli pa niya yung sobra. If I don't accept it, iniiwan sa car yung change. Kaya hindi ko inisip na gagawin niya yung ginawa niya

Honestly, I don't mind if he does not pay back. Naiinis lang ako na pag kami naman may kailangan sa kanya, wala siya. We already agreed when he resigned suddenly na if we need him to drive for us, he will make time. And that rarely happens. In the rare occasion we needed him, nang indian pa ng biglaan. WOW!

I feel guilty kasi yung Mom ko parang nagda dalawang isip. I convinced her na okay naman yung person (driver namin dati) Pero ngayon di na ma contact. Kapal ng mukha. Parati pa may pasalubong buong family niya samin e madalas kami may balikbayan. Kung ano sa kamag anak ganun din sa kanila. Pag xmas every year we prepare pa kasi namamasko sila. Naasar lang ako kasi ilang beses yan biglang magabsent on the say itself. The nerve. I don't wanna sumbat pero sana tumanaw siya ng utang na loob e we lent him enough para di maremata bahay niya. Di ba niya naiisip yun? Tapos sa FB nakaka pag outing pa sila.

Ah same person pala na sinalvage mo sa personal problems nya dahil sa bahay. Matagal na yan ah. Kung ako sayo, wag mo na isipin. Kahit nakakainis na nakikita mo na maalwan na buhay ngayon pero ayaw magbayad. Ikaw lang namumrublema eh ma stress ka pa. Di nya naman iniisip utang nya. Let it go ika nga. Lesson learned. So next time mangutang, eh di no na agad.

I believe the world balances itself eventually. Yung nautang na hindi binayaran sayo, babalik rin sayo in other ways. Same goes sa negative things that we do. Personal belief ko lang.

Yup. I even made a thread about it. I'm stressed out kasi kailangan namin ng maid and driver pero wala kami mahanap. Kaya siya inaasahan namin na mag drive pag wala talagang pwede sa family.
