You might be the "lucky customer" who will buy from them. It is possible that someone else will buy from them if not you. And so still they have "won".
In one way or another, we are guilty of stealing. How? When we do other things not related to our work while we are still under the paid hour of the company. When we take things that belong to the company, no matter how small it is. The list can go on.
And so I remembered this story from a friend who was called to see the school principal. Allegedly, his nephew was caught "stealing" a pencil from his classmate.
Going home together with his nephew he scolded the child, "Why did you steal your classmate's pencil? This is very embarrassing for me!" The child explained that he lost his pencil.
My friend answered back, "You should have told me, we have lots of pencils in our office!"
