How I wish laid back pa din like a decade ago. Ngayon stressful na din due to urbanization. I used to drive from Angeles to San Fernando via MacArthur effortlessly, now madami na traffic choke points. tabi tabi na rin malls, Angeles and San Fernando, hinde naman ganun kalaki area compared to other cities, already have 4 SM malls, aside from other malls like Robinsons, Waltermart, SNR and pure gold.

Kaya if hanap ng tao yung medyo mas simpleng buhay and countryside setting, mas mainam sa mga outer towns like arayat, san simon, porac etc

Sabi ni pugad baboy " mga dug-ong a-s-o" daw. I don't even know what it means.
Yeah, people tend to stereotype kapampangans as mayayabang and masarap mag luto. Totoo nga siguro yun, totoo sigurong madami masarap mag luto dito. Haha.

I myself plan to retire there (i spend most weekends there nowadays). It's a good mix of a laid back and urban life. We already bought a some (subdivision) property and plan to annex it with additional lots when the opportunity comes.

But yes, traffic has been getting worse along McArthur highway between Angeles and CSFO. I dread the opening of that SM Telebastagan.

We bought a property in Porac, just beside SCTEX. That will be our planned retirement place. Ayala is building a community similar to Nuvali within the area of the Porac SCTEX exit.

My friend's Mom sold their house after they built the Skyway. Stone's throw away din. Maalikabok pag malapit sa main highway ang house like EDSA , Skyway or SLEX

Yeah that is a disadvantage if you are a few meters away from the highway. And yung alikabok, mangitim ngitim pa.

Yeah, it was a good decision on our end. The place is part of the big development around where Sandbox is located.

It is not like those developments beside Skyway or SLEX. The whole area will become a big complex with subdivisions, a country club, schools, an eco park, and a shopping complex. It sits in the 4 quadrants of the SCTEX-Porac interchange.

Maingay pa. Spent a few years living in a building near the highway and even at night it never really gets quiet.

yeah seems like a laid back place when we went there, biking up Miyamit last year

Clark Green City a.k.a. New Clark City seems more interesting though... if it ever materializes

Alviera it is...paired with Sandbox for leisure goers and adventurers. Porac exit going to Angeles or Florida is so maalikabok nga lang, dagat- dagatang lahar is still there plaguing motorists.

When I moved to a condo along a busy thoroughfare, I had to install a second set of windows to reduce noise levels drastically. The noise from cars aren't that bad actually, what annoys me are motorbikes with fartcans.

I look more at the corridor between CSFO and Angeles.

The Porac/Floridablanca and Mexico areas are nice to have a little farm in.

Yes. Aside from the dust and heat, it gets noisy too. The view from my unicorn friend's room is the MRT and I tease her about it

Googled Alviera anhd it seems interesting. But...hindi ba flood prone doon? I remember kasi medyo pag typhoon season masama flooding sa Pampanga.

Bakit ka badtrip today?
