For some reason, umiinit ulo ko sa latest gen City. Yung tomboy na maangas sa office namin naka City kaya na associate ko na ata.

Huwag naman Cath. Di naman kasalanan nung kotse. ☺ I really miss our City. We had a Vios and a Mazda 2 as well but the City is the one I enjoyed the most. Fast enough, frugal, comfortable, handled well and was easy to drive. The ownership experience of that car definitely felt like it was above its weight class.

No problem on our ER33s, pero 10k palang ata tinakbo doon. Never pa kami nagkabukol sa tire... Siguro kasi city driving lang. Hiwa, nakarami na though :|

Yun pa bad trip talaga dun, medyo mahal pa yung OEM tires. Actually nagpalit na sya ng brand, just don't remember which one. Bumukol din.

We also had a problem with our City's Goodyear OEMs pero nung napalitan ng iba di na naulit. So I guess may element of swerte din.

Pansin ko rin, yung OEM tires are more expensive. Nung nagpapalit ako ng gulong, yung OEM tires (Yokohama A Drives) were 300-500 php more expensive than the ADVANs na same size. Won't take a rocket scientist to guess what I ended up with. ALso thanks to sir jut for the recos hehehe ganda ng drive ng Flevas

May nabanggit sa kin yung kilala kong tire importer na lugi daw sila sa OEMs. Pababaan daw ng price sa OEM. Bumabawi lang sila come replacement time kasi ang hinahanap yung OEM. Not sure if sandbagging or true.

Almost 3 years (35k kms) na yung jazz/turanza ko, salamat at di pa naman nag kaka bukol.

i think it's coz a lot of car owners only want the exact same tires their cars came with from the casa

since many car owners aren't really car enthusiasts para sa kanila going OEM is the best decision

The same way most Pinoys who have no idea about cars would look down on other brands aside from the usual Toyota or Honda or Mitsubishi.

As with some of my wife's relatives in Pampanga asked me questions like "ano brand ba yan?" or "maganda ba yan?" or "bakit di na lang Fortuner binili nyo?" the first time we brought the FXT to Pampanga.

Kanya kanya preference talaga,like hindi talaga ako comfortable sa relatively stiffer suspension ng hilux compared to Ranger and navara pero andami bumibili. Ang mahirap ay kung hindi mo nasubukan ang isang unit then nagsasabi ka negative things about it.

When somebody asked me how much, I told them it is more expensive than a Fortuner.
