Isama mo pa mga bopols na going down pa sasakay ng ng elevator kahit paakyat talaga mga kupal na tao!

Yeah, they got the goods against me. For every meeting or review, anything I say or fail to say can and will be used against me in the next performance meeting. So it’s quite inevitable, really. And although thankful I’m still around, I didn’t even expect to receive my 13th month.

No such thing as severance package or what have you- all you’ll get is what’s due to you.

I’m gonna ride it through to see how far it goes. Bahala sila sa year end na trabaho sa January.

Of course you'll get your 13th month. It's mandatory.

    Bingo!

off course from my point of view, "I did my best".

from the manager's point of view "but your best is not good enough".

Being under scrutiny since the middle of the year does take it's toll on you. Makes you hit some targets and miss others -- so yeah, in a way I saw it coming and have been clicking "apply" in jobstreet, linkedin, etc since September....

Still a bummer since I've been with the company for 5 years now and none of this has happened in the past....

Saw a tv ad just now, pitching the tax reform bill...makakatipid daw ng tumataginting na 10k pesos.....kada taon.

The ad conveniently neglected to bring up the inflationary effects of the tax reform bill. Or that it does nothing to solve the corruption in government.

    bwiset.

Sorry to hear about that sir. i was in a similar situation not too long ago. i worked at my last job for nearly 15 years, nung huli niluluto na yung performance evaluation ko. On the strength of one S.O.B.'s words that he "cannot work" with me, even though siya ang malabong kausap, even though the the S.O.B. spent two years doing nothing to improve our IT infra, even though we barely talked much less work with each other for more than a few days a year, even though the S.O.B. repeatedly ignored the improvements i've made with our remote backups which i expect he would claim he instituted. i did have a sense that i was on the way out, but the one thing i didn't expect is that sa evaluation pa ako titirahin.

I-evaluate daw nila ang performance ko for one year, but i know when the game is rigged, so obviously rigged it was ridiculous. Nung una, inisa isa yung evaluation items, me feedback pa from co-workers...nung huli, not even my immediate superior was giving me my evaluation. No discussion, basta hindi lang daw sila masaya sa akin. Had i fought it out, the outcome would still have been the same, except now they would have manufactured evidence of my performance.

This one takes the cake: kinausap pa ako ng HR namin, she was even blaming me for not establishing relationships in the company, if not i wouldn't be in that situation. In other words, kasalanan ko pa na di ako umasa sa palakasan para tumagal sa kumpanya. Ayos.

i could have fought it out, make them bleed...but after all that transpired, i knew i couldn't stay for even one more day. i'm not the type that forgives and forgets. Baka tubuan pa ako ng kanser pag nagtagal ako dun.

In any case, seems you've already taken a course of action. Keep moving forward, fall forward if you must. Don't look back. Who knows something better may be waiting for you just around the corner. Good luck sir

    Thank you very much sir.

You are right when you said na baka tubuan ka pa ng kanser dun, or loose whatever little hair I have :-P or grow more white hair.

Yes, I plan to keep going forward, and hopefully be at peace with myself. Kung maging bitter ako baka maramdaman pa yun ng mga mag interview sa akin while I’m looking for a new job.

We were eating at Cold Layer Cafe. We ordered 3 sandwiches and a pasta. It's obvious that these foods are pre-cooked and they just had to create it and serve it since none of them came out hot. It took 35 minutes to get all our orders out. Then I heard one of the staff commented about someone playing CoC (clash of clans). That's when I realized why it took more than half an hour to prepare 3 sandwiches. Other restaurants can serve hot and more complicated dishes in lass time than that.

This was our 1st time eating at that place and seems to be the last time.
