I'm no warren buffet so I normally invest in what I'm comfortable with (real estate). Stocks and other risky picks I leave to my wife. So I'm not too sure when is the right time to invest. But I do know I shouldn't be spending too much now hehehe

Always look at the fundamentals. Look where the money will go. It's been proven that every decade there is a crisis so as early as two years ago we've been on the lookout for the telltale signs (positioning company funding and preparing the companies we manage) to make sure we can weather such events. Look at UITFs before, in 2008 it dropped like a hot potato and a lot who were invested pulled the plug in spite of losses... if they opted to hold, it would have given quite good returns a few years later.

When in doubt, you can always go 50-50 with your savings. Put your base savings in conservative investments then look for the moderate to high risk but high return (in the long run) items with the money you can "afford" to gamble.

For me, it's buying time. Unless you need the money in the next year or two, then just leave it in the market.

The PSEi's poor performance is simply an offshoot of China's performance. But the PH fundamental story remains the same - we are a bright growth spot in asia and that hasn't changed.

One of Graham's most fundamental teachings: Never mind Mr. Market's paranoia, know the value of your stock.

Too bad I have other things to pay for now. The money I put in the stock market monthly just isn't the same as it was before, so my weighted cost average is still in the red. Hopefully the market remains sideways or downwards a few more months (or the entire 2016, if they like).

The rebound in 2018-2020 will be phenomenal for those who start buying now.

If you are to go into bonds, go for USD denominated bonds and those new offerings. The old ones will only yield 2-3% max. Gone are the days were investors can rake at 7-10%.

Ang malupit, hindi ka nila iisuehan ng new sticker hanggang hindi mo naki claim ang lumang sticker na lalabas a month before your re-registration

Agree with you bro.,- the recent developments do not speak well of the expected "take charge attitude/positioning of an Executive, who is our President"..

And all of these compromised the economy, peace and order, service, well-being and sovereignty of our dear country.

Dear President - The House In On Fire Na Po! All Hands On Deck na dapat!

(Actually,- tupok na ang buong barangay,- wala pa ring bumberong epektibo!)

A middle aged overweight soccer mom blowed her horn on my 70+ yr old 2nd Mom while we we walking in the gas station crossing to select. I was so mad I gave her the finger which I think she did not see. I was about to approach her when I saw at least 2 children so I decided to walk away. My 2nd Mom also said "hayaan mo na"

If there one thing I cannot stand it's rude people. Moreso people that are rude to older people. I don't care if I stooped dowm to her level by giving her the finger but nobody disrespects my loved ones!

Bastos kang baboy na makunat! Hirap na hirap na nga maglakad kasama ko binusinahan mo pa at tuloy tuloy ka sa maneho. Fck you!
