admittedly merong kungting security issues yung network namin... but merong filtering and firewall functions din yung DSL router kayalang its not completely fool proof!
before we were using a proxy server using WINROUTE to distribute the Inet connection but the problem is (well this is accdg to the tech guy from the dsl co.) medyo babagal daw connection..... so pinatay na namin proxy server!
so baka ibalik ko nalang yung proxy server...
sir mugen, baka pwede mo e-mail yung administration software.... dito nalang po!

hyperterminal is just a terminal emulation program -- telnet in Unix-speak...win9x and NT has this, but this was replaced by the telnet util starting with windows 2000
btw, make sure you guys are running virus scanners, and that outlook is properly patched...kungdi sasakit ulo mo B).

txs guys, i think proxy server nalang talaga ang best resort ko to handle the restrictions and filters!

sir mugen na receieve ko napo... salamat ng marami!

sir crossback... no problem...
i think mas ok yung ms proxy... medyo madali lang naman din i-handle..
kasi nasa sharing of internet connections lang namin yun eh... pero dont ever forget your firewalls para hindi lahat makapasok... It really depends on the sys ad who to allow..
