Ano pinagkaiba ng itik at pato?

So ano yung DUCK ? Wala sa listahan mo eh. Saka si Donald Duck saka si Daffy Duck eh parehong duck, pero bakit magka-iba ang kulay nila?

nasa breed nga yan. si donald duck, fashioned from the pekin breed (known for their meat, oddly enough, the breed used for peking duck). ito siguro ang pato sa atin.



si daffy duck naman, most likely fashioned from the khaki campbell breed. they are known for their prolific egg laying abilities (hence the balot). ito siguro ang itik sa atin.

yung itik ang usually colored - muscuvy duck. ang buntot nila ay usually merun curved feather (duffy duck is parang ganito pero iba pa rin ang lahi niya mas more of the wild duck siya because of the white neck band).

yung pato is usually the white ones (but not the big ones) na halos malaki lang ng kaunti sa itik - regular duck. plain straight ang feathers nito sa buntot unlike the itik.

ang bulk ng balot and salted eggs comes from itik although some do comes from pato.

the big white ones with a different mouth o "bill" shape is the gansa (swan) or perhap the peking duck.

medyo magkakaiba ang genus and species nila technically.
