December 4th, 2002 06:44 PM #11meron nabibili na nilalagay sa ilalim ng car na grounding device. yung mga cars sa australia you'll see something dangling underneath their car touching the ground to eliminate static electricity. kaya lang pag matagal na umiigsi nauupod kasi kaya you'll have to replace it after sometime. hindi ko lang alam ang tawag don. suggestion lang rub your hands vigorously before touching your car it'll reduce the static.

Maraming nabibili sa auto accessories store na inilalagay sa sasakyan para pang tangal ng ESD. Usually parang antenna ito na inilalagay sa roof. Meron din yung dinidikit sa nalapit sa door handle at malalaman mo kung charged up na yung sasakyan mo and you'll just need to touch it para idischarge.

December 8th, 2002 10:48 AM #15Hi, I'm just new here!
I suggest that you avoid wearing polyester, acrylic clothes or any man-made fabric materials. Nagkakaroon ng static everytime you touch or wearing those materials. Even your hair cause static too.
Its mainly your body cause static depending on what you're wearing or stepping on.
I had a phobia too getting static when I migrated here in Canada. Its mainly the dry weather causes static. I sometimes make my hands moist and grounding things by touching my foot first when touching some metal things like doorknobs. Sa car naman before inserting the keys I don't touch it with barehands. I still wear my leather gloves to avoid the static.
Hope this helps.

Damn, paglabas ko sa auto ko kagabi parang nakoryente ako nung hinawakan ko yung pinto. Delikado pala pag naka gas station, pwedeng magkaspark.
