Just yesterday I was so happy with work and then this afternoon my boss told me a "secret". There will be a reorg so the VP in HQ who I practically owe my career to, is letting our team go. We will be under a new head. So now I can kiss my promotion to AVP GOODBYE!

What pisses me off more is that our VP in HQ offered the post to my German boss but he DECLINED! Because he said he can't accommodate the additional responsibility anymore. Unbelievable! Medyo asar ako sa German boss ko, parang EWAN! So now we will both report to a new and young head. WOW TALAGA!

I have a deadline line today but I have not done a single report

Nakaka walang gana. I am thinking if this is really a sign that I should leave my job na.

Think of it as an opportunity Cathy. When my previous boss left the company I was devastated. He was my mentor and has been like a father to me. The new boss was younger by 5 years, different nationality from my ex-boss and very pushy as he wanted to prove he is fit for the role. But to my surprise, he promoted all his direct reports in less than 1 year and tramped HR to adjust for market the rest of the team. He is still pushy and impatient but heck he made a lot of people happy!

Okay na boss ang mga pana bro,- talagang inaayos ang kanilang mga direct reports for comp-bene, pero demanding nga...

Salad at Risotto lang katapat nila...

Mga big bosses din namin vegetarian...... Kaya tanghali,- fruits and nuts lang sila....
