renelmac? from ateneo too? hell yun immersion na yun... pero life changing experience... although naasar pa rin ako sa kanila, lalo na sa mga mahihirap na bastos at walang consideration sila na nga may kailangan, we cant still deny our friggin social responsibility...

hindi 'sad' ang word about sa attitude and thinking ng mahihirap... the right words would be 'depressing' and 'devastating'

Pero give credit din dun sa mga assault team, although lacking in equipment (gas mask, comms eqpt. etc.) they still did their job. May inmates, civilians, and heck even a child inside, tapos liit pa ng area. (too much SOCOM II hehehe)

Tapos I heard in the news na during the press con ni Reyes may nagkabarilan pa dahil hindi pa nasasanitize yung area may napatay pang isang SAF tsk tsk tsk

    COUNTER TERRORIST WINS!!!

Kudos to SAF for doing a good job...

Actually, halos walang advantage ang assault team... they even have to unlock the gates going inside before they can penetrate.

Though it was really sad that one SAF personnel died.

Undermanned and underfunded talaga jails natin. Sa isang selda na designed for four inmates more than 30 ang nakatira in aparment-type sleeping holes. Most of the guard posts are unoccupied.

If you believe the newspaper accounts, astig yung assault na ginawa. Parang CS hehe. Isang team pumasok from the ground floor. Another team climbed ladders to the third floor and attacked from there. May flashbangs pala mga counter natin although not all have vests. Counter-terrorists win!
