"European/World market cars use a different system for encoding VIN numbers."

The W124 you are looking at looks to be of European origin, meaning it's not a US version so the VIN site you linked to won't help there. Knowing the VIN will tell you if it's US or European model.

I did a sample run, position 5 states that if it's B then it's a long body (limousine). Mine is WDBAB33A... but mine is a sedan not a limo.

Find the VIN of the car (make sure it's also consistent with the rest of the VIN numbers) and check out the details on the MB Russian VIN Decoder.

Really? What's the difference? Kse, according sa LTO Text, 1994 200E sya pero yung emblems says E220.

I just realized, if it's a 1994 then the letter should go before the number. As in E220, E320, E420, etc.

    I don't know why it's a 200E, that's for 1993 terminology until the beginning of the W124, which is in 1985-6.

Basically, W124's are called NNNL where N = number and L = letter up until 1993. In 1994 and 1995 the sequence was reversed, making the letter go first.

    A 200E would have a 2.0L inline 4 engine with code, M102
    An E220 would have a 2.2L inline 4 engine with code, M111

Don't believe what's in the LTO registration. Yun sakin 220E pero 230E sa rehistro. Mayrun 200E, euro version ito. Iba ang displacement stage ng euro sa american version like 200E, 220E, 250E (euro), sa american 230E, 260E 300E. Basically pareho lang interior ng E220 sa 220E na 124. Sa exterior yun hood star placement, headlamps. signal and yun trunk ang naiba. see if M111 na ang engine ito yun intake tube na naka crossover sa cylinder head. Good luck on your purchase mag member ka ng mbclub for your technical needs.
