    No 126 came out in carb. Lahat injected na if not diesel/turbo diesel.

    As to the consumption, if it's a 280se, it should be around 6-7kms/liter. Of course, this would depend on the car or road condition and driving habit.

    Bob, the 280S w126 is carburated, but it is limited to the 1st gen w126, it was subsequently replaced by the 260SE

    Guys, I was just browsing through the mb club forums, and I came upon this page on MB production models, and I was sort of surprised to see that a w126 560 SEL has just about the same gas mileage as a w123 280E. I'm slightly puzzled. Can it be true? How can this be possible?
