I have been posting to Sleepwalker & been quite helpful. But a US post by expert Merc Engineers, had confirm its the Regulator the culprit.

I am double checking this. Hope any 1 can refer me to a parts supplier on the www site.

So my first suspect of the blower regulator is correct..

This has always been a problem part for the MB aircon. And to think this blower regulator part was re-designed already from the first generation late 1995 W210 It used to have a blower regulator which has a design similar to the W140 S-Class. Then they now have a completely new blower and regulator design by 1997. But it seems that this newer re-design still has some issues since it breaks down easily. BTW, the blower regulator is not cheap..
