    Sir Marlon,

    Another info for you... Yung 300D, 300 meaning 3.0L yung D Diesel. That pic you posted has the engine of 3L Inline5. Turbo versions are Inline-6. 260E meaning 2.6L gasoline inline6 [E]. 230e - 2.3L .

Except sa 190E/190D. They have 2.3L/2.6L engines. Puro mga timing chains makina nito. Bulletproof, yung 8-Stroke nga naka record ng 4M kms. :whoa:

W124 - Old E-Class This is actually an updated (2nd gen) E class - an E500 no less!

Here is an example of a first generation 300E. Notice the lack of body cladding below half of the doors that the 2nd gen w124 has above. Also notice the front fascia is different from the 2nd gen with the regular grille. The headlights pictured above were also updated.

W201 - Old C-Class This is not called the C class (which started with the w202), this is the w201 or Baby Benz as they call it

^^The closest one to the foreground is a 2.3-16v model. Notice the headlamp wipers, rear spoiler and bodykit The rest were regular w201's.

Yummy, the '78 240D you posted is a w123. W123 chassis were built from '77 to '85. The /8 were the previous models.

There are turbo inline-5 (OM617), and turbo inline-6 versions (OM603). There were also turbo 2.5 models I think they're OM602 but I'm not as familiar with those as I am with the 617 and 603 which are both 3.0L.

The OM617 came from the 300SD (OM617.950) w116 from '78 to '80 w/ 112HP. Then the US version of the w123 (OM617.952) used them from '82 to '85 for the sedans and coupes, '81 to '85 for wagons. There were European turbodiesel wagons too that had slight changes in the engine but retained the MW pump seen in the US turbodiesel models. The more desirable pump is the M type, commonly seen in the European version 300D models. Continuing, the 300SD (OM617.951) w126 also used the inline-5 turbodiesel from '81 to '85 until the 300SD w126 was replaced with the 300SDL in '87 with the OM603.

Yep, they all have timing chains. I think most of them even have double row timing chains.

Drey, by the way check this link out. I know you still might have a knack for the /8 body
