everything is stock... im still thinking over the brabus super charger from germany but its wayyyyy out of my budget... lol

i prefer the classy look of the oldskul benz than the sporty nuskool talaga.. body material of the oldskul is thicker pa than the new ones (parang lata na malambot..)

KORAK!! but sometimes i doubt that.. because here in the Philippines there is a common misconception that most Benzs are driven by family drivers with the "Amo" at the backseat.. sometimes when i'm driving with the family i feel this.. although buti na lang medyo maputi ako at di mukhang Family Driver.. hehe

I was with a friend at the Benz meet today at Pasadena (Rose Bowl) and he brought his 1977 6.9 w116 while I brought my 1983 300D Turbodiesel sedan. His 6.9 was a BEAST. In fact he had the largest engine in the whole meet despite others having 6.3, 6.0, 5.5 liter engines hehe. When we got to his car it was parked for a few months so the hydropneumatic suspension collapsed in the front but the rear was up. So he awoke the beast and I could slowly see the car rise! Galeng. Parang yung totoong "beast" within the machine was awakening slowly.

And yep, I drove it around the Rose Bowl. Kakaiba ang feeling of that engine growling!!

I took pics but too lazy to transfer them yet...update ko kayo next time.

anyway, have owned quite a few old benz's over the years from a new W111 to the W116. But let me share a most recent acquisition with my son, who just bought this W123 as a DIY dedicated LPG conversion. We begin work next month when the components arrive from various suppliers! Our humble contribution to the local pix.
