January 2nd, 2009 03:14 AM #131I think there's no big deal about parking on the roads of Hong Kong. Even this Reventon was parked on the road!
I mean, look at what happened when you parked in Trinoma's "secure" parking.

Oo nga maganda nga ang security dito sa HK and most of all it's not in the culture of the locals to vandalize the vehicles there.
Everything was settled within 2 days.
Sa HK kasi napaka "everyday" cars na yung likes ng BMW, Merc...etc.. basically most Euro cars. The only Jap cars here are the high performance cars like 350Z, Skyline GTR(I also have this one), Honda Type R's, RX-8s. Also, majority ng jap brand is Toyota kasi ang hilig nila sa minivan like the Previa. Yung mga taxi naman nila is always the red Toyota Crown Cressida.

I kinda agree with you on some points sa "fugly" R Class. Even when I got back sa HK I asked my gf what Benz she purchased ang sabi niya it'll handle all of our cargo needs. Ang nasa isip ko lang baka ML series eh yun pala R wagon. Pero the thing I got to like is the color. Maganda yung taste ng gf ko she chose black and I'm pretty sure when you drive that wagon back in Manila heads will turn. Kasi minsan yung profile niya eh di mo alam kung wagon siya or crossover suv gaya ng BMW X6.

January 26th, 2009 09:01 PM #135Thanks,
Yeah I know, Kaso baduy pag lalagyan ko ng frame eh. I'm still thinking if I shoud take out the plate frame (it's U.S. version by the way). Problem is, I have to seal the hole mounting the license frame.
I don't want to repaint my bumper just yet. It's not necesarry at the moment. Any sugestions?

Or the headlights back to stock Euro/all-glass units, after having them cleaned nicely.
Never was a fan of those aftermarket crystal lights. And we'll know it's not an E-look unless napintahan ang impact strips at may trunk filler sa likod :D

Still a good buy if comfort and timeless looks matter to you. The monocoque chassis rides smoother...
2017 Pajero BK, still a good buy?
