or is it only for the C350?
we got the C200 Avantgarde and the agent
ddint mention anything about a MM package.
thought she did mention the ipod integration package as an option,
pero un lng.
it would have been nice to have that 7-inch display.

about the hood thing,
it ddint take me that long to find the lever beneath the dash.
though i found it wierd why they had to really hide it.
hehehe.
what i found elusive was how to open the gas flap.
that took me a lotta scouring beneath the dash, the sides,
only to find out all you gotta do is push it from the outside.
hahahaha!!!
guess im the monkey here.
i have yet to fully read the manual,
pero i find it wierd how easy it is to open the flap.
street children could play with it on stoplights!
hehehehe . . .
also,
there's a backup cam????
why ddint i find out about these things?
it would've great to have had these.
all we have is the front-rear parktronic system
with light indicators on the front dash and the rear.
bummer!!!
what models did u guys get anyway? from CATS din?

March 21st, 2008 02:11 PM #44fuel tank is unlocked only when engine is turned off and car is in park.
when you arm the remote or if the engine is running, fuel cap is locked.
the 18 inch rims do make for a slightly rough ride when the roads are not good. but kung freeway and good sidestreets, okay naman.
i lived in Manila for 8 years and i can imagine it would be very bad there.

Still... can you just imagine being stuck on the side of the road and trying to find that damn lever? Frustrating.
Nice car... not quite as exciting to drive as I'd hoped (damn ESC) but still, nice car.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The backup camera is not an option at the moment to the C-class but for those who have the MM package it is possible to install a module that will bypass it enabling backup camera.
I'm ordering one from the USA and hopefully to have it DIY here locally.
The module will also enable VIDEO IN MOTION which allow MM to view DVD while car is moving.
Standard MM does not allow the DVD to play if car moves.
The cost of the module is $475 the rear camera from Kenwood is $200

yeah . . .
i just talked again with my agent . . .
yun pala,
she said it was a possible option had i only
opted to get the car a bit later . . .
was kinda eager to get it by december kce . . .
pero i still didnt know about it . . .
had i known, it would've been definitely worth the wait . . .
she even forgot to invite me to the C-class driving experience . . .
and my tito who wasnt even getting a c-class was able to join the event . . .
ahehehe . . .
nonetheless,
the car makes it all worth it . . .
ahehehe . . .
although much better had it had a 7-inch screen and moonroof . . .
pero
its all worth it . . .
no harm done . . .
sinabi moh! i hardly see my children now. when they were young, schedules were more predictable.
