I'm not sure why I watch this movie again and again every couple of years but I do. Probably it's because Nicole Kidman was at her physical peak here.

Btw, the battering ram demolition derby at the swiss market square featuring a Mercedes Benz w124 (?) and a couple of BMWs is one of the best car scenes I've seen in a movie (for me). The way George Clooney man handled the w124 was awesome.
    W140, actually.

    Carry-on (2024) - 6.5/10

It's apparently a Christmas movie trying to hitch a ride on the coat tails of the die hard franchise. If you consider not taking into account reality, it's decent enough as a nothing-to-do on late night Sunday movie.

    Predator: Killer of Killers

A great animated movie set in the Predator universe that spans different timelines.

"Captain America: Brave New World" (2025) on Disney+.

Not as good as the first three Captain America MCU movies.

Master and commander : the far side of the world (2003) on YouTube

It's said to be one the most historically accurate naval movies ever made even though Hollywood has made liberal changes to the real life character it was based on. I think even the circumstances in the film was altered to fit the movie writer's vision of the movie.

Saw F1 (stars Brad Pitt) over the weekend.

This is a movie that can be appreciated much much more if the cinema you will watch it in has really good surround sound. It is also important that the sound engineer of said cinema is not asleep at the wheel and is able to properly set the audio to what this film deserves.

I saw it on Cinema 2 of Fisher Mall (Dolby 7.1) and it sounded excellent -- it really sounded like you were trackside.

I don't think you need to see it in IMAX but definitely be picky about the audio.
