Noon, madalas naming panoorin ng lola ko ang KUARTA O KAHON.
I can still remember Tito Pepe making funny faces.
Apat pa lang yata ang istasyon ng tv: channels 2, 7, 9 and 13.
and BBC also stands for Big Beautiful Country...
Those were the times that game shows are really "honest-to-goodness"...
Oh well... RIP Tito Pepe...

RIP, Pepe Pimentel.

What I remember most about him, aside from his long stint in showbusiness, was that he was often featured in news stories helping out other motorists who were stranded on the road due to car trouble.

Kahit bumabagyo, or katirikan ng araw, he would stop and help out the motorist change his tire, give it a push or what-have-you. Kahit na luma ang sasakyan, talagang tinigilan niya para tumulong. Madalas nga, sinasabi ng motoristang natulungan niya na hindi nila akalain na tutulungan sila ng isang Pepe Pimentel. At that time, I thought, he must really be a good man,

Am sure he's in heaven now.
