Sa tingin ko, naininis si GMA sa pagka-bail ng suspek, then she dropped hints here and there (Tulfo) and presto, the damage was done to Babao! The president was so shrewed and calculating. She got exactly the result she was after. Teach a journalist a lesson on presidential ire. Babao may have been living a privileged life, but he is not immune to the scorn of an irate woman, especially one who happened to be an unpopular, stubborn president.

But Babao a terrorist? Nope. A fool, maybe. But a super rich fool nonetheless, hehehe

This is implying that Babao posted bail for Santos. He (Santos) already explained that his wives were the ones who went around the Muslim community to raise the needed amount for bail. If anything, the lack of a real anti-terrorism legislation was the reason that Santos was able to post bail.

I wouldn't trust anything the police and military 'intelligence' says even if my life depended on it. Remember, nagkamali na rin sila recently in arresting a suspected terrorist leader, nadamay pa si Gloria sa kapalpakan nila. And what about the supposed decline in carjacking/kidnapping cases in Metro Manila?

maybe what happened was julius babao wanted to do an exclusive story on dawud. but the latter asked julius babao for assiatance in getting bail money in exchange for the exclusive story. and julius agreed to help. that doesn't mean that he himself put up the bond money. but as a journalist, his job is to cover the story, not create the story. he shouldn't have gotten involved in the court proceedings.

What exactly did Babao do in court, that could have possibly enabled Santos to post bail? Wasn't he there just to cover the story, as he should be doing?

The only basis they have in incriminating Babao is the sight of him allegedly 'whispering' at the back of Dawud Santos and his lawyers. Que horror! If Babao was indeed whispering during the hearing, so what? Isn't that the proper and logical thing to do inside a courtroom, so as not to unduly disturb the legal proceedings?

Has military intelligence finally sunk down to the level of haphazard conjecture and malicious hearsay?

We keep mouthing off about certain actions that supposedly got Babao in trouble with the law.

Ano ba talaga kasi sa palagay niyo ang ginawa ni Babao, that makes it so easy to incriminate the guy in this particular issue? Does anyone have concrete, incontestable proof that he tried to influence the law?

agree... if you have proof, then go file charges against him. wala naman pruweba eh puro tsismis palang yan habang hindi napapatunayan.

unfair din naman sa tao, ni walang pagkakataon madepensahan yung sarili.
