coz it never mattered to them whether those countries exist or not

that's how insulated native-born white americans are from the rest of the world

I remember this report about blonde lady hounding this Spanish speaking lady on public and telling her to speak English if she is on US soil. I'd like to hit her head on foreign soil and ask her "do you think Japan should kickout Americans in Japan who can't speak Japanese?"

And then the other incident where a white guy told a black women while on Ryanair “Don’t talk to me in a f--ing foreign language, you stupid ugly cow!” while they are in Barcelona Airport, a foreign country.

You will be surprised at the number of Americans who don't even bother to get their passports, even more so who have not gone to either coast. Some of my coworkers before were amazed that I have been to more states than they do even for a short time I was there.

Americans are so privileged for having the 2nd most powerful passport in the world. They could travel the world without the hassle of a visa. Their passport is the only reason why I am considering leaving everything behind in Manila.
