japanese martial arts? hindi na yata ito uso ngayon. mas maganda mixed martial arts, muay thai, or jiu jitsu.

Baka gagawin nilang production prequel dun sa original Karate Kid wherein bata pa si Miyagi. :D

I think Jackie Chan hit 50 a couple of years back.

Seriously, its a hard sell if they remake the Karate Kid. I mean, Mr. Miyagi aka Pat Morita is an icon in terms of a student-mentor relationship onscreen.
