A quarter mile run between (supposedly) 10 second cars that goes on for three minutes?

FnF2 had absolutely no redeeming qualities.

FnF3 (Tokyo Drift) actually had a decent script and acting... but it's a movie about a juvenile delinquent who befriends a criminal, steals a gangster's girlfriend, and becomes the king of illegal racing in Japan. Wow... what a plot.

FnF1 had the Chinese as bad guys. FnF3 had Japanese.

FnF4 will have... what? Pinoy gangstas trying to kill Vinny and Paul Walker?

    :hysterical: why not....

^^^ Plus one on that Jun I can't forget that feeling when I saw that Countach dart across the silver screen waaaay back during the day. Mitsubishi also got a boost from the second flick that featured no less than Mitsubishi Freak Jackie Chan behind the wheel.

F&F part 4? Oh dear I certainly hope not. It's gonna spawn a new batch of misinformed street freaks *sigh* I bet the go fast carshops will benefit from this again.

A friend of mine told me once that he wanted to be called "DK" instead of his real name. 'So, you also into Dongky Kong huh?'

I wouldn't mind a car movie so long as there's real cars with real stunts and real stuntmen. None of that 3-d CG crap. That's why the best car movies are the old ones:

    Bullitt
    Vanishing Point*
    Smokey And The Bandit

But who knows? F&TF4 may turn out okay.

*After finally seeing VP in full, it's my favorite because many of the locations were places I spent a lot of time driving in.
