The paraffin test isn't reliable nowadays. Only third world countries continues the act of doing the paraffin test to prove the criminal or the suspected criminal, GUILTY it is because we cannot afford those hi-end machines that can be truly trusted in proving if one person have shot a gun. The attorney in TV patrol also stated that UP diliman did their test in proving if the paraffin test is really reliable, 40 students shot a gun and only 2 of them was positive. Imagine that 2:40 ratio. The act of placing the hands is also wrong the index finger and the thumb should be separated apart.

Imagine those things.....how come the Police can really prove if one person is guilty in shooting a gun. I just dont know if the Police has any other things to do to prove someone is guilty.........

True, everyone is a suspect but the police shouldn't have arrested the sisters and brothers of +Mrs. Trina Etong+ that way. And they shouldn't have taken them during their sisters " agaw-buhay " period.

The persons who were inside the house at the time of the incident had already been subjected to the paraffin test, and the results came out negative.

I have this eerie feeling that the police / PNP are just pawns in this "drama". Just look at the way our (no good) Justice Secretary Gonzales is taking pains to personally micro-manage every step of this case - accosting (writing a memo to) PAO chief Acosta, calling Acosta crazy, calling in the NBI dogs, etc.

I won't be surprised if this harassment, as I see it, goes all the way up to a certain GENTLEMAN's family. Just my opinion, but it's really sickening me to my guts.
