Hindi lang dapat yung bunso. Lahat.

what is alarming right now is parang the angle of suicide is being looked down upon... tama lang naman ang maghanap ng ibang angle/motive... pero yung ipagpilitan na hindi suicide just for the sake of it, siguro mali na yun... correct, most of the evidence show self inflicting injuries... correct, may inconsistency sa statements and probably evidence... that goes to show that suicide and foul play should be taken up... pero to obviously (tipong halata na) rule out foul play, wag silang mag expect na hindi mag isip ang tao na payback ang ginagawa nila...

It was quite clear from the video of the arrest that no one from the arresting team read the suspects their rights at the time they were taken into custody. That was the perfect opportunity to do so since they were in front of the cameras and reporters.

Is it any wonder why the arrests they make are quite easily quashed by the courts?

I've seen almost all CSI episodes (LV, NY, Mi)... and the plot on this one really interests me.... i guess sobrang nanggigil yng mga police officers na involved sa 1st few hours ng pagkaka diskubre ng incident na ito kaya nagkaganun.... goes to show that it may be possible na talagang kulang ang training ng kapulisan natin... I mean... maybe sa classroom.. lectures.. seminars.. written exams... seminars sa abroad with experts etc... pero I think important din yung simulation... like you simulate an incident and let the operators operate and evaluate if the operations were compliant to a plan .... this way.. kapag andyan na yung pinak stressfull situations.. hindi mawawala yung objectivity ng operator at since naka tanim talaga sa puso at isipan yung standard operating procedure.. halos hindi na kelangan tumingin sa libro o kaya magtanong sa supervisor...

parang fire drill... earthquake drill... ganun..

    +1 ako dito...

classroom is different from the field so a simulation training is very necessary... analogy nalang siguro ang pag drive... madaling sabihin na mag timpla ka ng clutch... pero sa first timer pag actual na mahirap... sory for the analogy, cant help it nasa tsikot e ...

actually isa yan sa mga blunders (sorry to say this) ng mga enforcers lalo na yung mga PEDEA... kahit huli sa acto yung mga offenders, pag hindi sila binasahan ng miranda rights takas sila on a technicality...

sa pulis (I think sa mga SWAT) they are already doing this.. something like paint ball ang gamit na bala.. but the guns are almost too real.. (air soft ata tawag dun.. )... but they should do simulations not only on assault training... dapat pati sa crime scene management... actually in all areas of operations... parang crisis management... fully trained or well versed dapat...

to have this... of course funding ang kelangan para may pambayad sa training hours, sa consultants or auditors na mag au audit kung talgng sumusunod sa SOP... shempre kelangan from outside party yung mag check para may integridad...

yun nga mahirap... training nila is paintball... counter strike style...
wherein they shoot anything in sight...

urban police should handle situations differently because they mostly handle situations where civilians are present... they should be more restrictive... look what happened in the pque shooting incident... napagkamalan yung croswind niratrat... parang T-rex e, pag gumalaw kalaban, paputukan...

It is never easy to lose a loved one, but it becomes even more difficult when attended by controversy and publicity

Let us respect the right of Failon and his family to “grieve in private.”

"Their right to privacy should be respected. No less than we ourselves would also ask it for ourselves as a matter of decency, and especially at a moment like this. Let us refrain from adding to their suffering,''

Lets wait the outcome of the investigation.

Did Ted Failon shoot his wife?
