    Kulang nalang pati si Santino tumakbo next year may age requirement lang kasi.....

    Dapat pati si Piolo Pascual tumakbo na din para ipaglaban nya ang mga bakla si Jose Manalo candidate din (currently facing estafa case)

    2010 should be the biggest circus in Philippine's history.

    BIR files P540-M tax case vs Carlo Caparas


    MANILA, Philippines - Movie director Carlo J. Caparas owes the government P540.2 million for failing to file tax returns from 2006 to 2009, according to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

    Caparas’ 64 counts of criminal charges are part of the BIR’s renewed effort to run after tax evaders. It has already filed several cases before the Department of Justice (DOJ) since July.

    The controversial director has long been under close scrutiny.

    Recently, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said it wanted to stop his 2 television programs featuring lottery winners.

    The PCSO discovered that Caparas, the shows’ producer, was given a P1.3-billion contract for 5 years under the administration of then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. -- report from Ina Reformina, ABS-CBN News
