The video shows that "boy gapang" going into Danice unit by himself, so meaning voluntarily (with maniac intent). When he was inside th eunit , dun na cya pinagtulungan. When they all got out and escorted him into the elevator, they were heading already to the police station to file a case against boy gapang.

So nowhere in the whole sequence of event was he illegaly detained. Hindi ito naiiba sa magnanakaw na pumasok sa bahay. Kung nahuli ng magbahay ang magnanakaw sa loob ng pamamahay nya at binugbog, pwede bang magsamapa ng illegal dention ang magnanakaw sa maybahay? Illegal detention was a mere harassment case against CL et al instigated by boy gapang's handler in his network.

That's not how the law is interpreted.

The definition of serious illegal detention aka kidnapping still applies since (i) serious physical injuries were inflicted; and (ii) there is an allegation of extortion of money aka ransom from the victim. So kahit 30 min. lang yan, kidnapping or serious illegal detention pa rin siya. It doesn't matter that the victim went there voluntarily. The fact is, he was detained AGAINST HIS WILL and physical injuries were inflicted on him.
