Want hassle-free fitment? The magic number for offset is +45. ;)
as long as you get a fender roller or know someone then problem solved.
Pero sa tingin ko wla sa pinas yun or bihira

with the rubbing you can camber it a bit. As long as the toes OEm spec you have nothing to worry about

Oh well, your car, your money, your satisfaction.

    Innocent question....

... if 'Hyaku Shiki', shouldn't the car be yellow or gold in color?

That was the original plan but I've ditched it. Gold can so easily look like beige.

Photos from my third trackday, courtesy of Edward dela Rosa of Team Flat Out.

    2nd Pitworkz Hongly Trackday
    Subic International Raceway
    January 17, 2010

    Previous record: 59.14 seconds
    New personal record: 58.4 seconds

...And I still haven't changed anything on the car.

Won second place for Bracket C (57-59.99 seconds) - prize was a trophy and a 4L can of FK/Massimo Super SS-X oil. Winner of that bracket was an FD Civic.

    Good job!

Time to start unbolting parts! Hehehe... body-lightening! Just leave your seats and spare at the pits.

    Thanks!

I don't want to resort to unbolting seats and the spare yet Niky. Call it stubbornness, but I like the idea of running my car in as close to street trim as possible.

That said, I hear the GD Jazz's back seats are heavy things...a friend of mine saw an entire second of difference in his lap time by stripping out all the seats except the driver's. That almost-stock GD Jazz VTEC ultimately ran Subic in 54.7 seconds.

He said he took 15 minutes to take out the seats but it took almost an hour and a half to put them back in. Hahaha! I'll pass, thanks.

Just to give you an idea, here's the car that beat me and became champion in Bracket C: an FD Civic.

Given that FDs here make anything from 140-155 HP, I'm still mighty proud I bagged second with just 82 HP from my GD1 Jazz. :D
