April 8th, 2009 03:26 PM #1Hi Guys, kakakuha ko lang ng Mazda 3 ko last month at gusto ko sana kayong tanungin kung ano bang klasing gasoline fuel ang gamit nyo? Currently, Petron XCS Plus ang gamit ko at wala nmn ako reklamo pero mas maganda siguro kung meron dito gumagamit ng ibang fuel na mas mura and not sacrificing the performance while improving the efficiency or consumption.
Cheers.

congrats on your ride. What color is it?
Ang recommended sakin ng SA ko shell unleaded lang daw. So yun ang ginagamit ko parati. Pero lately, nagpapakarga ako ng Caltex e10. Mejo nakakamura kahit papano.
Kaso, sabi naman nung isang SA, once a month lang daw ung E10. I just put that in the 'urban myth' category.. The car should be able to run on e10 without any problems.. It even says so in the manual.

I suggest to stick first with unleaded during your break in period then do experiment to other types with higher octane rating to see any difference both on performance and FC.

April 9th, 2009 11:34 AM #5thanks jrebong0, black ung color na napili ko.
* Taurus, thanks for the suggestion but my break in period is already over and I had my first car check-up just last week.
Anyway, I read the manual and according to it ang recommended na octane rating is 90 and above (in the Philippines), siguro naman dahil un ang recommended eh sana wala namang mgbago sa performance at consumption. right now kasi ang FC ko ay 9.5 km per liter (by the way this just based from the info button and not actual results) which is mababa, so kung bababa pa sya eh wag n lng ako mg-shift fuel.

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
