water leaks

gud day to all mazda owners ask ko lang po my mazda 323 98 mdl. may leak po kasi na water don sa may timing belt posible po ba na sa water pump po yun kasi po nag bbawas po ung tubig nya, kung water pump magkano po kaya more or less ung assembly or repair kit nya salamat po

No idea on the prices, but if you're getting a replacement, GMB water pumps usually work well enough.

1. i have mazda 98 mdl last tuesday afternoon tumirik ung car ko hindi sya nag start, my gasoline guage was almost 1/4 pa ung reading i try to contact my mechanic but suddenly already past 5:oo pm na d ko sya na contact and naisip ko bumili ng gasoline kinrgahan ko sya din umandar sya posible ba na my gasoline guage was defetive tnx.
2. ngayon po we have a problem ung rpm ko ngayon erratic sya going up and down kung minsan namatay posible po ba na nag bara ung fuel filter nya dahil don sa naubusan ako ng fuel, then pwede ba palitan ung fuel filter nya, and drain ko ung gas tank nya para malinisan, maraming salamat po sa mga mazda lovers

Hi TS! Just wanted to ask, when was the last time you did a major maintenance for your car?

See, your car is running 11 years now, I would strongly suggest to have ALL fluids replace, water pump, clean your gas tank and have your car tune up na din by replacing your spark plugs...(might solve your rpm)

i had my water pump replaced for mazda 626 at 1,600 excluding labor.

Regarding erratic idling problem. If your engine is electronic fuel injection.
possible causes :
1. Throttle body , need to be clean for long time it build carbon deposit.
2. MAF mass air flow . Clean by maf cleaner
3. Clean IACV.

Q.A. 1) can you try to check all the tube lines from your gasoline tank to the filter. maybe madumi lang or even try to check your filter bro. very simple basic check-up. madali lang yan.
Q.A. 2) bro if you ever check your filter and tube lines w/o any problem. try to test your driving. kung nag fu-fluctuate ung gauge mo sana maramdaman mo rin yun sa pag takbo ng auto mo. kung walang problem ung accelleration mo maybe u need nga to check ur gaude sa casa or any trusted na mechanic for that reason. remember "FIRST THING FIRST" do not compromise your car in some very common problems. try to test and analyzed first, last option lang ang repairs. coz it cost you a lot...
