MX6 reviewn - ASAP pls.

im planning to buy a MX6 87 model for a project car.

ok ba eto?

hindi ba mahirap ang parts?

Ano ba makina nito? madali ba eto sa pilipinas.

Kung ok bilhin ko na sya sa sunday.

Most likely the parts will be very hard to find. It's an FE engine, a generation behind the FSDE in the 90's 626, Ford Probe and MX6. You might be able to use Ford Telstar parts for it, as the Telstar is basically a GC 626, but I don't know if the Telstar 1.8 is exactly the same as the 626's FE... and if it's an 87 model, it might be EFI already. Another possible source of parts is the gasoline 90's Kia Sportage, as that engine is supposedly an FE3.

That said, conrods and crankshaft should be interchangeable with the newer 626s, but any head problems might be difficult to handle. Suspension and brakes should be the same as the Telstar, which means it should be possible to find some stuff at Banaue, but you won't know until you get them side by side.

Better to get a mid-90's Ford Probe or MX6, as those have exactly the same hardware as the later 626, which, though the parts aren't widespread, still has spares available.

But if you like the car and the engine is in good condition, it's up to you. A lot of people like the Telstar, and it's a fair bet the MX6 will drive just as well. And the rarity factor will make it a head-turner.

meron syang problema.

Yung idling nya. bumabagsak sa 400rpm. pnataasan ko na pinatune up hindi daw kaya.

Sinabi sa akin yung sa actuator daw nang aircon or servo ba ang prolema?
