If your problem is sluggishness from a dead stop, well:
The Yaris is a smaller, lighter, car... much lighter. and it has shorter AT gearing, too. The problem with the Mazda3 is that first gear is way too long. That's why it feels sluggish from a stop. Using manual mode won't give you a shorter first gear, unfortunately.

medyo slow ng ung 1.6 na mazda3 sa stop and go. parang mas mabilis pa vios. top speed nya is 165kph at 4500rpm ata. ayaw na talaga

August 6th, 2008 04:25 PM #13Guys Im using 95 octane... Yes yarris is much faster maganda ang arangkada nyan I tried both fully loaded mas mabilis padin mas luma pa nga yarris na gamit ko. I reallyfeel na may problema yung unit na nakuha ko kasi parang ayaw talaga umabante. I will try this week kailangan tlaga mapa check ko na.. Any suggestion anong dapat ko pa consult sa SA. Balak ko sana pa test drive sa kanila then mag test drive din ako ng other unit para ma compare
