Why would you not release it earlier?

Honda released the new Civic here, same year in the US...
Toyota also released the new Altis, 10 months after its US release...
Hyundai launched the new Tucson IX 4 months after its release in Korea...

Why does it take Mazda Phil. 3 years to release the 2nd gen MAZDA3?

baka di tayo part ng overall strategy nila for sales. in short, di tayo ganon kaimportante. mabuti pa yun 3 na binanggit mo.

ilalabas nila yan dito pag luma na..ganyan style nila..tingnan mo ang mazda 2, ilang taon nang narelease sa ibang bansa pero till now pre-launch palang sa atin...

i'm a mazda 3 owner, pero totoong LUMA na talaga ang modelo dito compare sa iba,,

isang case din ang CX 7 3yrs na ata nirelease sa ibang lugar bago pa sa atin...

maiintindihan ko pa yung ibang model kase dipa narerelease dito..pero mazda 3 6yrs na ang modelong ito di padin pinapalitan...baka 2012 makarating sa atin dito..by that time me bago ng civic, so kung kukuha ka ng mazda 3 na newly release dito..luma padin kung ikukumpara sa ibang brand

In fairness to Mazda Philippines, they could not import the CX-7 when it first came out in 2006 because the 2.3l turbocharged engine in the first model used gas with a higher octane rating than what is available here. It was only last year that they put a normally aspirated 2.5l engine (same as the Mazda6) in the CX-7.

FYI din po sa lahat, discretion din po ng Planta kung ilalabas nila ang Mazda 3 2010 dito sa Pilipinas or hindi kailangan din nilang i consider yung mataas na government tax. Hindi lang po kami sa Mazda ang may ganitong pangyayari, even sa ibang major competitors namin ang maraming di nailabas na bagong labas na unit nila. Just incase na lumabas dito sa pinas ang mazda 3 2010 kukuha ka ba?

Probably yes. Pero hindi siguro sayo kasi parang wala kang alam sa mga pinagsasasabi mo. FYI hindi high taxes ang nag preprevent sa Mazda na i sell ang 3 dito iyon ay yung kabagalan makapag adjust ng Thailand plant to produce the 3. When Ford and Mazda decided to close the Phil plants and source the 3 to Thailand, it required a lot of logistical changes and people needed to be trained there.

You cannot sell the CBU japan 3s here because of the strong yen. maliit magiging profit pag ganun. The Mazda 2 is sourced from Thailand hence mas nauna na syang mabenta dito.

Also you still have a sizeable inventory of the old 3 if im not mistaken.

FYI hindi po sinarado ng Ford at Mazda ang Planta dito sa Pilipinas, actually kagagaling ko lang kahapon dun to attend series of Training, Lagi kami nag to tour sa loob ng planta at madaming Focus at Mazda 3, at Escape ang ginagawa pa din ngayon sa planta... pero di kami umaabot sa sinasabi mong sizeable inventory...karamihan sa Mazda 3 na andun sa loob puro right hand drive... If just incase you don't know, Gawang pinoy ang Mazda3 at ang Pilipinas ang nag eexport din ng Mazda 3 sa Thailand, Malaysia at Indonesia. Ang Mazda 2 lang ang galing ng Thailand Plant namin. Wag ka masyadong mainit... This is just a Forum. Don't accuse me na wala akong alam kahit Taga Mazda ako at ikaw taga planta ka ba? para kasing ang dami mong alam. saan mo naman nakuha na Sarado na ang Planta sa Pilipinas? Bakit parang di ata sinabi ng Sta rosa plant sa amin na sarado na pala sila? Hindi maganda ang nagmamarunong at nagbibigay ng False information dito lalo kung di ka sigurado sa sinasabi mo at naririnig mo lang... FYI ulit... Dito lang sa Planta ng Pilipinas ang may 2 kauna unahang Pinay na nagpipintura at may gumagawa din ng Engine ng Mazda 3... Ang galing di ba? Just take it easy.
