Guys, I started a new thread for those who also have melted tail lights problems..I think we should air this concern as a group especially for those whose warranty have expired..Im certain your tail lights melted long before you could notice them..Had I not been told by my brother who rode in another car behind, I wouldn't have noticed such melted tail lights..This surely is a design flaw which mazda should rectify instead of using warranty excuses. they said it will undergo an investigation since according to them this is isolated. However, based from the number of cx7 that i see on the road with problems like mine, i dont think it is. I even tried to research on this in the web and found similar complaints from cx7 owners abroad.. Try looking more closely into your tail light you'll notice it will start to bubble due to the heat of the bulb then eventually it will bore a hole..You can identify this with other cx7 cause their tail light will reflect partly white and not totally red when the brake's or dim light's on.. honestly i feel disappointed that a car costing this much have this kind of an issue..I just hope I can collate other complaints from forum members to prove that this is a design flaw and definitely not an isolated case..here are the links of the complaints from abroad..

those were just 2 of the complaints..if u google "cx7 melted tail lights" ul see that as early as the 2007 cx7 model already have this issue..mazda should really think of a recall..

mine is just starting to melt, no holes yet. maybe because i seldom use my cx7, even less during night time. will definitely log complaint to mazda re this issue. thanks for the information

went to mazda this morning, had it checked and issued warranty claim. will come back next month for the replacement since the parts will come from japan.

Sir, parking tail lights lang ba? how about brake lights or turn signal lights perhaps? must ba a manufacturing/supplier defect on their tail light bulb.

Has anyone installed Rota rims on their CX7? Specifically, the P45? Actually, the P45r3 looks really nice and wide. I think it's finally time to replace my wheels since I've always hated how it's so small it's not even aligned with the body. Can I just go to Rota's factory and ask around & buy there? I'm assuming they'd know if it would even fit without rubbing.

I had the Rota Options on my 7 before. Okay naman

You can go to their factory in Bicutan and buy there. However, you need to have it installed elsewhere

try to call your dealer, baka pumayag kahit outside warranty

Another complainant here, tagal ko na din napansin yung may white plastics sa tail lights pero hindi ko nireklamo sa kanila. now outside warranty period na yung CX7 ko. sayang at ngayon na lng ulit ako nakapag basa ng forum na ito.

Sir ZENMasterTYL dun ba sa actual dealer nyo kayo nagreklamo? Pwede bang malaman kung san kayo dealer nagpunta para dun na lng din ako mag-complain, at least I can tell them na hindi lang first time ito nangyari so defect talaga siya.
