The kodos are on global architecture platform. What we're offered here are no different from what the US gets(except the AWD Turbo3s). Makes it a lot easier to source parts, too. The US is a rich resource for reasonably priced parts & upgrades.

My sister who owns a gen 2 CX5 at the US told me she is likely to get another CX5 once her current car reaches 100T miles.
She is not really a car enthusiast. She is just happy with the overall quality of Mazda cars
