We tried installing an Auto-LPG kit into our Mazda3 1.6L but it never worked to our satisfaction, problems would always return after a tuning session. After a year, we had the kit removed.

I spent 350PHP for a 112 km provincial trip via NLEX and macarthur highway last All Saint's day using our Mazda 3 1.6L. The trip computer with an average error of only 0.2 Km/L registered 16.94 km/L traversing the NLEX stretch with 2 young adults and 1 kid

Civic FD 1.8S MT is my bet. The fuel efficiency of that thing even when I constantly redline it is incredible.

If you are really concerned with Gas consumption, get a Hyundai Accent. that can easily do 30kms/L. Yes, 30. Because it's a common-rail diesel. Can do 200kmh+ too. So you have power and fuel efficiency in one.

with your budget, you can get a brand new VIOS which is also very fuel efficient albeit with a very jittery ride.

Between your choices, I like the Focus more. You probably can't afford the diesel version with your stated budget but who knows, you might get lucky.

hello, sorry nangulit sa lumang thread, kaso mukhang hindi na natuloy ito.

Sir DDARKSTER, i hope you don't mind me asking, what did you end up buying? These are my top 2 choices rin, i'm planning to buy a car as well around summer time of next year, the Focus hatch 2.0 and the mazda 3 2.0r are on top of my list, but with more inclination towards the super gwapo Mazda 3 R.
