Tinest ko yung SD Card Reader using a 64gb SD with just mp3s, di sya nadedetect sa entertainment.
Di ko sure kung malaki masyado yung card or para sa navi lang to (na alam ko wala dito sa pinas).

NTFS ang file system ng SD Card.

Baka pang-Navi lang talaga sya. You can also try a smaller FAT32 card. USB nya kasi hanggang FAT32 lang ang kaya.

Try mo FAT32. Windows lang kasi gumagamit ng NTFS, hirap basahin ng ibang OS.

Such a statement w/o concrete support is kinda irresponsible. It would be welcome enlightenment if this hearsay could be expounded & dissected technically.

Mazda seems to have a commercial partnership with Shell kaya pinu-push nila (you can see it in the shirts their mechanics wear, the engine oils they use and the paper floor mats they use). You can fill up anywhere (basta you know its reputable). I prefer Shell, but only because of the SM Advantage points and the credit card rebates. Kapag tinatamad, I somteimes fill up at Caltex near my place with no problems.

I like Mazdas, but I really refuse to drink the Kool-Aid.

There's more to it than meets the eye....
SkyActiv engines are a lil different from regular DI engines & are specifically tuned to certain petrol & octane formulations that differ from market to market. Prior to landing exclusive deals w/ Petrol & lube companies, makes subject all the available samples in a particular market to quality & consistency tests. The 1st step is identification of technically qualified products. What happens next maybe commerce driven.

100% direct injection ba ang skyactiv engines or does it combine direct injection and traditional intake port injection like the D4S engine of Toyota?

100% direct hence the carbon deposit concern on the intake valves. Mazda did a bit a magic to mitigate that though.

"One of the biggest issues with direct injection engines is a build up of deposits on the intake valve. Mazda determined that this was largely due to the intake valve being too cool. A lot of analysis went into designing the heat paths away from the valves to keep them at the proper temperature to avoid deposit formation."

I have a post-grad degree in geology/geophysics and took a few units of petroleum courses and my wife has a post-grad degree in chemistry and materials engineering (w/ a NDA for her work with Nissan, I'd like to think it has something to do with the GTR, but most likely the Leaf hehe). Anyway, from her analysis and my contacts in the petro industry, apart from the color (w/c is simply dye), there's really no difference between the various commercial fuels being sold in the market At least between same rated fuels between brands).

I'm sure you've earned your stripes from the academe, Yatta sir. Tho I'm an insignificant nobody, what I simply shared was neither an opinion nor hearsay. And, there wasn't any attempt to pit your wits against anyone's.
I'm pretty sure you know random sampling involves not just specimens from the refinery but those directly from the pumps....that's where most of the flunking come from. Operators & quality check systems are the variables here.
Note that I pointed irresponsible that comment singling out Petron w/o anything concrete. And....we all know commerce moves, but it isn't the only thing that does.....Mazda had reasons for choosing Shell. The call to opt the same isn't a law last time I checked....so exercise freedom w/ caution. And should some irrational Service Tech rule that a fault code be caused by some petrol not named Shell? What are we to do but beg for Yojin to stay????
Again, it's anyone's call to follow... or not.
Views in forums are expected to differ. There lies the essence of it all....the sharing of knowledge. And for your constant sensible indulging, good sir, my hats off to you....even if it matters not.

What I'm pointing out is whatever property or chemical additive Shell/Mazda is touting as beneficial in Fuelsave is also present in Caltex Silver and Petron Extra.

That's not where the doubts are coming from, Yatta sir. I know of those who've been stripped of operating licenses. How they lose the quality from the refinery off the pumps isn't really puzzling. It's unfair to paint it all commerce...that's what I'm saying.

Thats why I said "as long as its a reputable gas station". There have also been instances of unscrupulous Shell stations anyway. Head on over to the goon and blacklist threads.

We're not talking perfection but averages here. My luck has been good w/ Shell. And w/ oil, thru the years, it's been either synth Helix or Castrol Edge for me. Euro-certified & readily available.
Buddies I know w/ fleets of cabs also strictly implement Shell-only fuel policy...no Shell shirts, no paper mats, no commerce....
Let's just leave everything here to calculated guesses.
Again, no1 has to follow what Mazda advises if it's against personal beliefs like they were religion....Just don't tell your dealerships you don't have their recommendation in your tanks...you'll be good
