I think it is about the responsive of the transmission or the ECU (or whatever it is called) is still "learning" your driving style.

Regarding transmission response, it can be adjusted. This is at least according to the guy who availed of the service. You can feel it right away, according to him.

Does the 2014 Mz 3 come with Sport mode? In the 2 it improves the throttle response and autoshifting (stays longer in the lower gears).

Maybe its the TCM? Try resetting by removing the battery for a few minutes. Could even be the TPS.

2014 1.5 doesn't have sport mode. It tries to read your driving mood. That's why it gets caught napping when you're slogging through traffic and suddenly you squeeze past the bus that's blocking the highway loading passengers and the road frees up.
