afaik regardless of octane rating all gasoline being sold in ph are unleaded wala ng leaded gas for cars nowadays...worried lang ako the effect of 93 octane to a 95 octane recommended cars in the long run...is it really harmful to the engine?...

Hello tsikoters. MAZDA6 2010 is a beautiful car indeed. Here in the UK, M6 has a new MZR 2.0L engine w/ direct injection system. Its more refine than its predecessor. It has 155ps w/ a fuel economy of 40.9mpg combined city/highway. But in the Philippines, I've noticed that 2.5L engine is the only option & its very thirsty on fuel. In Europe, we have 1.8L 122ps / 2.0L 155ps / 2.5L 170ps and diesel version of 2.2L MTDI w/ 3 power derivatives : 123ps / 163ps & the most powerful 185ps turbo diesels. But the best in petrol engine is the 2.0L & 2.2L 185ps in diesel derivative respectively. I own a MAZDA6 2.0L SVT 150bhp 2nd generation & its really fun to drive. Fuel consumption averages between 13-16 kmh/L. MAZDA6 for sure a head turner. Peace

hi, i recently bought a mazda6 with the new 2.5L engine. Im extremely happy with its performance, quiet, VERY responsive and quick! my only criticism is the lack of a power lock and trunk release latch from inside the car. Im wondering if there is a mazda6 thread here where I can get some inputs and experiences from fellow mazda6 owners like me, can't seem to find one...
